My first experience with Raspberry Pi 2

First application with Raspberry Pi 2 is live! This is a lot different than learning Arduino! The installation of OSMC ran smoothly and was very quick. I look forward to chronicling from the mindset of a complete noob.

 

The only kink I ran into so far was figuring out how to configure the audio output to push to the analog output. I had to go deep into the settings menu. OSMC didn't seem to give me easy native access to a terminal to configure it in the way other people suggested so I used this method.

 

Next step: Getting rolling on my roadtest!

Installation progress automatically once you boot up the Raspberry Pi 2 with an OSMC image on the micro SD card

Had to do a test run with the minions to make sure everything was working!

    No super specific rationale to be honest. I'm more than willing to try out other systems because the OSMC is not impressing me with its lack of documentation. I expected I'd be able to find an easy console that I could use to control any "Now Playing" media when I'm navigating through menus but I haven't found anything to that effect.
