I am the usual port of call for technical sales questions on 'traditional Camden' CamdenBoss products, i.e. terminal blocks, fuses, VRLA batteries, micro switches, limit switches and more. As the old cliche goes no two days are same, however one question does come up surprisingly regularly.
It is nice in a way to have a good answer to this question, and it would only be possible by having the comprehensive range have. The question is: which terminal block goes with the CNMB enclosure (below)
Like I say, fortunately we have a vast range of terminal blocks to offer, and there is one in particular I like to recommend: CTB7000 (below).
Why? Because first of all it's a good terminal block, quality V0 plastic, with a professional rising clamp. Then it is a good size for the CNMB, standing quite tall off the PCB so that the screws are easily accessible through the holes in terminal guard (CNMB/x/TG508). Last of all it is grey, like the CNMB and this is often quite important. It surprises me how often I hear engineers who don't want to use a green block on a grey box or vice versa. Like who's going to see it? Laurence Llewelyn Bowen?
