The xmitter works but there is a little static in the receiver and
when someone is moving in the the room there is a LOT of static.
The power supply is a Radio Shack 12 volt 10amp like this one.
In a motor vehicle the the xmitter and the radio have a common ground.
In the house, using above referenced power supply, there is no "ground".
Does anyone know of something I can do that will create a ground plane
and improve xmitter performance?
Or will installing an inexpensive "twin-lead dipole" on the receiver
make a vast improvement?
