This is an unexpected surprise. When I submitted my idea I wanted to include the EnOcean Reed Sensor to provide a sign of life. When I was at work on Friday I was researching FHEM (on lunch ) to see if any other components were compatible with EnOcean Pi and the software FHEM. And there was the PiFace Digital ! I know now I can control the PiFace Digital with FHEM on my computer or smart phone. I can set up code to activate an event when the reading has changed. FHEM uses Perl for coding. Here's a demo controlling PiFace Digital 2 on my laptop. But first a picture of the Raspberry Pi and EnOcean Pi talking to PiFace Digital 2.
