Project Start- ToDD

This post is to show that I am going to start on a project that I have been looking forward to for quite a long time. I want to build an Arduino robot that "learns" while it moves. By "learning" I mean that it find the layout of where it is moving and send it back to the "brain" which would be a Raspberry Pi server.

With this project, I want to give back to the open source community that I will most definitely be taking advantage of within this project. So all of the 3D models that I will be creating will be put into a repository somewhere for everyone to use. And the code which I have already begun to call ToDD OS will be put in my GitHub repository.

If you have any questions about this project that I am going to undertake or just any helpful information, feel free to leave a comment.

Thank You

L.

Excellent project idea! I love the notion of a mobile robot that learns the shape of your house -- seems like it could also have some pretty massive commercial/industrial uses. A robot security guard that patrols an office, for example.

It also put me in mind of this, which could be useful for reference (not so much in function, but in design -- something that can move around the house with relative ease. Although a mounted camera could be cool, too): https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/riley-a-smarter-robot-drone-security#/
