Putzing around with an Arduino...sort of

So I have been playing around with an arduino for about a month and I have caught a bug for learning and building electronics projects.   It's come a long way since being in high school electronics classes 30 years ago.

 

What are your favorite projects for amateur radio, IoT, and just getting the mind active?  Challenges?

    That's awesome, John.   I do that too.   I usually rummage around in friends' basements and cellars looking at their stuff that they won't use again.   Once friends find out that one likes to do that, the friends generally are too happy to give the stuff away.

  • Hi Kenneth,

    Welcome to E-14. Personally I like salvaging components off circuit boards and then studying them and doing experiments with them. I too played with the Arduino a while back but have been busy learning components lately.
