Hi I got a raspberry pi 2 model b what program should I download to the micro sd card (the micro sd is not from any starter kit...)

Ok, you are a first time user, I recommend https://www.raspberrypi.org/downloads/noobs/ and select Rasbian, Do have a micro sd card with at least 8 GB and not more than 32GB ( over 32GB needs recreating!).
