I decided to build my father a computer for his upgraded 1930 ford car. Currently I have a Raspberry Pi model B card with a 32gb sd card and XBMC installed. This was supposed to be a half a day project as the only modification I really did is solder a gps chip to use the header pins so that I did not have to use the usb ports. Currently it has the following design.
Raspberry Pi model B with 32gb sd card 512 ram
st22 GPS module
7 in touch screen
wireless keyboard
bluetooth and wifi dongles
wifi configured as an access point for cell phone control of xbmc
navit for gps navigation
the amp has volume controls
working on hfp for linux for use as a speakerphone but need to test it with my fathers cell phone.
what I was wondering is has anyone tried to interface tpms on an raspberry pi computer or have any tips to where I could try to integrate this into his car. his goal was for the classic car to have more features then my mothers brand new car he bought her.
