RPi/Z-wave project: Adding in the Pi-Face

Had a little time on my hands today.  Ended up putting the Pi-Face on the second RPi and connecting doorbell buttons to it.  Wrote a C program and two Perl scripts to toggle the office lights when one of the doorbell buttons is pushed.

The buttonwatcher program is pretty basic:

#include </usr/local/include/libpiface-1.0/pfio.h>
#include <unistd.h>
#include <stdio.h>

int main() {
     if(pfio_init() < 0) {
          return 1;
     }
     int shoot=1;
     while(shoot) {
          int rcode1=pfio_digital_read(0);
          if(rcode1==1) {
               system("/home/pi/bin/floortoggle");
               sleep(1);
          } else {
               int rcode2=pfio_digital_read(1);
               if(rcode2==1) {
                    system("/home/pi/bin/desktoggle");
                    sleep(1);
               } else {
                    sleep(1);
               }
          }
     }
     pfio_deinit();
     return 0;
}

The toogle scripts are even shorter:

#!/usr/bin/perl

my $stateurl="http://192.168.2.246:8083/ZWaveAPI/Run/devices\[3].instances\[0].S
witchMultilevel.data.level.value";
my $onurl="http://192.168.2.246:8083/ZWaveAPI/Run/devices\[3].instances\[0].Swit
chMultilevel.Set(255)";
my $offurl="http://192.168.2.246:8083/ZWaveAPI/Run/devices\[3].instances\[0].Swi
tchMultilevel.Set(0)";

use LWP::Simple;
my $content=get $stateurl;
die "Couldn't get $url" unless defined $content;

#print "$content\n";
if($content==4) {
     $junk=get $offurl;
} else {
     $junk=get $onurl;
}

The only drawback so far seems to be: having doorbell buttons screwed to the underside of your desk, connected to the Pi-Face, controlling the office lights, seems to have negative Spouse Acceptance Factor points (she caught me with the electric drill again).
