Smart Transport Wifi

This smart Transport WiFi would be placed on every bus stop freely for the people to connect and check where's the bus is coming tracking and informing them there's a passenger waiting for the bus stop.As smartphone was entering in every man's life and this could help and there will be no internet connectivity expect the bus routes display website.... Pls tell how's my idea and comments

    I think there is a better way to do this - let the transportation companies publish the schedules or even real time status of their vehicles (trains, ...) over a publicly accessible API or at least downloadable data. The schedules itself can be than published via a webpage or mobile application from anywhere, not just at a bus / train stop. I personally check the routes on my way to the stop itself. When I stay at the stop, it is usually faster to look at the timetable than grab a phone, unlock it, view a website / open an application, enter the route data... Add connecting to a wireless network to this process and you again loose many seconds, that could be used to see the data at the bus stop without using any technology.

    Also, who would maintain this gigantic infrastructure of WiFi hotspots, especially with a single purpose that makes no commercial sense? There is also a great way of displaying the nearest vehicles en route on a display panel - again - no technology and time required from the end user. User experience and accesibility is important here.
