Solar Power Use

I was thinking about using solar power to either charge batteries or power a small Radio Controlled car.  Would this be feasible or would the amount of solar cells needed be so large it would look more like a giant moving solar panel than a car. 

  • It would be feasible if:

    • Good sunlight where you are located
    • Do not expect a fast charge. These work like a trickle charger depending on voltage needed.
    • Powering a car would not be expected since motors would draw too much current typically.
    • Expect to need a circuit board to help regulated the current/voltage.
