This is the regulator for use in the automotive industry and 24 V industrial applications. The internal switch delivers up to 1.85 A 1.2 A continuous current at voltages as low as 0.8 V. The switching frequency is programmable from 300 kHz LT3686HDD#PBFLT3686HDD#PBF to 2.5 MHz. This provides maximum efficiency by Linear Technology, but with avoiding critical noise-sensitive frequency bands.
