This week has been an absolute garbage fire for production. I had to do a stint at the office, so I've been unable to put much time into Project Mego this week. I'm running up against the weekend today, but I should have shots for this segment completed and I'll catch up on editing next week.
PROJECT MEGO:
As I mentioned, I haven't been able to put much time into Mego this week. I've been working on the voice modulator to various degrees of success, but it functions, and I may revisit it later in an update here. I'm going to wrap shooting on that segment today and move on to the power supply next week.
VHS TIME CAPSULE:
This is obviously a long-term kind of project that gets updated in fits and spurts. I'm trying to take maybe 5 minutes each day to update with a new video. Even still, there's probably a year's worth backlogged right now. Plus all the other tapes I haven't sorted through yet!
10Q:
Another personal project that I pick up in the fall, 10Q is an opportunity to reflect on the previous year. As I closed out Project Porkchop, I left room in my journal to finish it with answers to the prompts provided. It's been an interesting reflection this year, centering on the changes in my life brought about since getting married and the COVID-19 pandemic. I highly recommend signing up for the service and taking a couple weeks as the year starts to wind down with cooler temperatures and warmer colors to answer the daily questions and consider the ways you've changed in the past 12 months. I find it much more productive than the "New Year's resolution" in that it encourages you to think critically about where you are, where you've been, and where you want to be.
