TGIF - set interrupt vector to weekend!

image

This shirt was made for a recurring electronics arts & media event, called IRQ, in Toronto.  It started 10 years ago.  Here's the first flyer:

The last IRQ I attended was during PyCon Canada last November, and I wore a Riker's TNG uniform image

I also happened to meet a guy who works for the Canadian Space Agency (yes, that exists image), and he controls Linux systems on the International Space Station!

Cheers,

Drew

And they say that Canadians are boring.

I always found it useful to hit a good bar with your tech friends on a late Friday afternoon.

We had one physicist who would set up his treats and libation to play a marathon game of the old "Star TreK" computer game.

He even went so far as to have his calculator so he could compute his firing angles with more precision.

Hey, in the mid 1970's our options were few.

Plus fun is where you find it.
