Today i finally received all the chassis parts to commence the build of my Autonomous Wheeled Bot.
The basic design concept is using a turtlebot base using arduinos to control the motor and sensor functions and then onboard is a Nvidia Jetson TK1 board running Theano Keras and Tensorflow for carrying out real time object recognition and facial detection. In addition to this it will have voice activation capability and the ability to communicate its experiences via speaker.
I already mostly have the TK1 board programmed and doing what it is supposed to do - now i start the build of the mobility base and the arduino programming for the motor and sensors --
Interfacing the arduino and the TK1 will be an interesting challenge and i look forward to the coming weeks.
