It is quite obvious that Ri is making computers more portable than ever and will continue to do so. The user interface for computing should also undergo revolutionary changes.
Any products out there going this route? I envision Ri to be embedded in your favorite jacket and used with glove QWERTY, which I saw some patents on, to replace keyboards and eyeglasses to replace monitors.
I think this is a more organic and natural system that is an extension of the human body, and do believe this is where its headed. Computers should be a part of you. I think that smart phones have tried to
address these same points, but I find the user interface as not so organic. You are forced to look at a tiny screen and type on a tiny pad with frequent errors. Moreover the price is horrendous.
I think that smart phones are rarely even used as phones. What they are is in essence wearable computers. Again, i've seen some patents on these but would like to know if there are any off the shelf products out there, or any teams working on this. I think that is where we are all heading. Multiple computers embedded in our articles of clothing, with new more organic means of interaction via more natural interface.
