The obvious question in anybody's mind reading the title of the blog would be "What is this SLS Smart Homes?" and the next would be "Why was it created?"
Well, here is the first answer:
SLS SmartHome is geared towards developing and deploying products that bridge the SmartGrid and SmartHomes worldwide using power line and WiFi communication that interoperate with SmartPhones and Tablets. SLS is working towards a complete ecosystem of devices for the new generation eco-friendly families that prefer to stay informed about their energy usage.

The need for smarter ways of energy monitor and control using the existing infrastructure gave rise to SLS SmartHomes. Nobody would want to have lot of extra installations and burden for knowing the power consumption and controlling the usage. The upcoming posts will explain the role of industries as well as individuals in the process of building Smart and eco-friendly homes.
