I have trouble in selecting an affordable and high quality 3d printer. There are so many manufactures, I don't which to choose. If you have bought one of them, please share your experience with me.

1.MakerBot Replicator 2X

2.LulzBot TAZ 3.0

3.unique 3d printer UN-3D-02

4.Afinia H-Series

5.3D Systems Cube X

6.UP! Mini

I will tell you a secret about buying things. There is no one "Best" choice. The best way to select a machine is to first define what you want it to do. Look at speed, accuracy, run time costs, availability…

DAB has some really good points.

I would also consider what materials you are looking to print with as some of the printers you specified are limited to printing with filament only from that manufacturer.  You also need to think about if you were ever looking to mod/upgrade the machine, then you could eliminate some more from the list.  Most printers on the market are going to give you the same accuracy, resolution and speed.  Its all the luxury features that puts one over the next.  I guaranty you could get the same quality prints as the ones listed above with a self built REPAP variation.  I like that Lulzbot as its opensource and have used their hotends (Budaschnozzles) for years and are really good people to talk with if you have issues.  Just my thoughts.

I will tell you a secret about buying things.  There is no one "Best" choice.

The best way to select a machine is to first define what you want it to do.  Look at speed, accuracy, run time costs, availability, and support.

Then compare each product against your needs, NOT against each other.  Keep focus.

Once you have a set of candidates that meet your needs, then you look at the price and make your selection.

Understand that as soon as you place your order, a newer "better", and possibly cheaper product will be announced.  Ignore the hype.

Buy what you need and use it.  Once you have evolved your skills and product needs, then you can look for a "better" product, but until then you need to exploit all of the capability of the one you already own.

I saw so many people waste their time trying to buy the "perfect" PC system.  It was a no win game.  Ignore it.  Define what you need and buy a product that solves your problems.

Otherwise you will just drive yourself crazy.
