Fellow designers/inventors: It used to be that sophisticated electronic system design was out of reach of mere mortals (READ: Design tools cost $$). But these days, design tools, especially those tools for designs using off-the-shelf parts are really accessible to the independent designer community. DAC showcased a lot of (CAD tool) providers, and offered a great forum for a broader launch of "the knode". Again, WOW: Check out the extensive offerings on "the knode" for development platforms and kits, operating systems and stacks, IDEs, PCB CAD tools, and on and on. What a great world in which we live.
With such a smorgasbord of tools/capabilities, the opportunites are really only limited by our ideas.
