Double your internet Speed(sic)

I found this on You tube claiming to double the internet speed with a "special cable". He even has some interesting mathematics behind it. Here is the challenge, can you disprove his reasoning?

I have the IDE cable. Currently looking if I can find the two ends of my internet cable.
