At last, I purchased my first $5 computer. I am so happy, I had to show a picture here.

LibreELEC " Kodi" to run Medi center off tiny Pi Zero. Without cables and hub, this is very small (unlike this print image)! Successfully loaded first time try. Check out video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbNTEYdTVu4Clem

I have it working on big brother, but am troubled by my OTG cables not working from China.

clem57 This looks like it is going to be fun.  I saw quite a few search-hits for USB-connected antennas for RTL-SDR/ADS-B applications.

    For example,

    • Hardware overview: http://www.rtl-sdr.com/adsb-aircraft-radar-with-rtl-sdr/
    • Linux software source code: http://www.rtl-sdr.com/adsbox-new-ads-b-decoding-software-for-linux/

    and

    • specifically, PiAware: https://flightaware.com/adsb/piaware/build

I am a little jealous as I am still hip-deep in my Paleontology class!
