Do you see the lights?

DAB

15 Oct 2012

Hi all,

I made a discovery a few weeks ago and I wanted to see if anyone else has seen the phenomena.

Background:

Have you ever closed your eyelids and seen the lights in your eyes after the lids are closed?

From my initial polling, only a few people see lights, most see only black.

I have seen these lights all of my life, so I was actually surprised to find that a lot of people do not see anything.

Discovery:

Last week end, I became aware of a huge light show going on early before dawn.  I mean it was really impressive, better than any fireworks display I have ever seen.

Later in the day, I recieved a Space Weather report about the solar CME that hit the earth at about the same time that I saw my light show.

Yes, very interesting.   Could there be a connection?

So I thought about what was happening.

Revelation:

Physicists use deep mines to detect high energy particles.

The sensors are essentially a large pool of water surrounded by photodetectors.

When the particles hit water molecules, they release photons, which they can detect.

Think about the eye.  It has a viscous fluid infront of very sensitive photodetectors.

It is my speculation that the bombardment of high energy particles could arrive at the eye during CME and interact with the eye fluid, thereby releasing a flood of photons for the eye to see.

After all, we are talking about a huge amount of particles released in each CME event.  The particle density is very high, so I think it is very possible that I see these particles.

Proof:

There have been two smaller CME events since my initial discovery.

I saw lights at the same approximate time that I reached a time when I had line of sight to the sun.

A third event occurred this morning and while less intense than the first, I did see the lights.

Conclusion:

These events have convinced me that I have made a very important discovery.

So I thought I would reach out to the E14 members to see if anyone else has noticed these events.

If you would please share any information you might have on your own experience with lights in your eyes, I would be very interested.  Especially if you saw the same awesome show I did last week end.

If people can indeed detect the passage of Cosmic particles through the earth, that would be an incredible discovery.

Thank you all in advance,

DAB
