It is not necessary to have one or the other. You can have both :-). There are professional photographers who don’t get the lighting as good as you did in that photo.

So, as opposed to good, I was lucky. We were literally running out the door that morning and I handed my wife my phone and click. Good morning light I guess. I actually just wanted to take a quick picture in case I had an eating accident as we huddled in our car eating outside our favorite bagel place (spills happen frequently). Thanks!
