Coke stealing Robot Impressive Home Build

Problemchild

This chap obviously has something against our Vending machine overloards and as spent an

inordinate amount of time designing a Robot (or remote control device if you prefer) that can sit

inside a vending machine and lower drinks down the shoot.

Obviously what he's doing is illigal but the wonderful way he's doing sort of makes up for all that petty Law stuff.

Yeah I think the guy is probably in on it. At least then there's less legal problems. Failing that if he's paid for them at some point then that's not theft either.

Re Lego problem is that when the Can comes thundering down it would break the lego model I think unless you glued it so that kinda defeats the object.

Re the Flaps I think they are pritty small already thus how narrow the robot is , also you need to get the can of coke out of the machine, I think thats the limiting case there!

I bet the owner is in on the video, you'd pretty quickly notice all the missing cans from the front row!

I can't help but wonder if this could be trivially built with Lego now that the concept has been demonstrated... I wonder. The main hurdle is making it small enough to fit through the flap on the front.

The flaps on these machines are also generously sized and could easily be made smaller if this "exploit" somehow became widespread... I, for one, bow to our new coke-stealing yet still stunningly svelte overlords.

He seems to be really proud of his device, it can only be a question of time before

an owner of one of thes machines catches him !

Is a $1 dollar/euro worth the years of jail time?

Great work for robotics in tight places.
