Hello, today at our electronic shop, i get hold of Delta Horizon II AC power supply, that looks like new old stock. It should give out 27V and 35A, so it will be perfect for my bench power supply, or maybe for CNC. Since it's Delta power supply, build quality is very nice, also it has active PFC, since voltage 425V at capacitor bank.
Now only problem, it is smart power supply, and have interlock, but i don't know how to enable it, any one have ideas, information how to do it ? (well, it sell for less than 10$)
Ok, trying to trace at least something:
It has some good PFC, with controller from TI : UC2854, also fet drivers at the same board TC4424, and fet's are IRFP450, maybe i will change them with something with more umph
PWM is also from TI, only good stuff here: UC2825
Power diodes are from IXYS and IRF
when i plug 220V, i hear only SS relay click, and PFC hissing. Button on front enables 13V to connector. Connector have 13 pins, two of them are ground, 1 is ground, 2 pin is +13v ( aux 12V ? ). I try to put 13V from connector via 2K resistor to each pin, but no effect,
i just have led indicator named ALARM on.
