Hacking/Rebuilding a MegaMax Programmer

I have one of these programmers. I always thought that I could get it to work, but nothing, it's not supported, and nobody would fess up, the goods.. That's how I ended up here. The goal is to use the same case, its ZIF socket, and convert the I/O to Ethernet. I will have to get a new pc board made, as I wish to keep the form and function pretty much the same. I wish to cover EPROMs, EEPROMs, and maybe small bipolar PROMs as well. This is the next step: First, I need to pull the following:
- ZIF socket
- BD130 (power transistors Si-NPN) x 12
- BD135 (power transistors Si-NPN) x 4
- LM317T (3-Terminal Positive Adjustable Regulator) x 4
- Xlinx XC3030-70 It seems to be reprogrammable. But it needs to be reprogrammed every time it is turned off. :(
There are 2x 74HC273 ( Octal D-Type Flip-Flops With Clear positive input ) its outputs are connected to a 2N4401 (NPN BJT).
The LC to use and program the XC3030 is out of my wheelhouse. So I can't use it, anybody want the dam thing!! Let me know. asp!!. I will ship in the lower 48 free. thanks...
So, it looks I have to start with an MCU of some ilk; it needs Ethernet connectivity. A USB drive to hold all the tables.
Please note I have better pics, but it seems that they have farted with this stupid editor again?! I can't load pics from my PC anymore!!!!
~~ Thanks for checking it out Cris
