Well will wonders never cease! My bother sent me a nice Hanukkah Gift! The little guy knocked it out of the park, he knows I mess around with electrical stuff, computers, and even a MGB or a Jag!! Nowadays its just a Mazda 3 GT (2015), which has been knocked about a bit. The kid, sent me a Kline MM720! looks brand new! but there was a tell-tale pawn sticker inside the case that he missed, Oh well his hart was in the right place this time. Now don't get me wrong I love my Fluke 113 True RMS DVM which I love but it has few features Volts, Diode Check, Range, Min-Max and HOLD, which is very nice. And 600v between the leads or ground. But the MM720 is loaded with other features:
- Range, Max-Min, Hold, Just like the Fluke
- REL
- SEL choses between AC/DC, in most select knob positions
- SELchoses between Ω, KΩ, MΩ,V, nF, Diode Check
- Hz
- LoZ
- Temp C°/F°
- uA/mA with seperate Jack
- 10 AMP with seperate Jack
- CAT IV 660v and CATV 1000 v to ground.
Problem is that you have to sub-select every thing with the SEL button. This is not as covenant as the 113's grab and go! But still very nice! ~~ Cris H.
