imageSo, before I waste some more of my time, I have decided to test the frequency selector pin-outs on P1. So what I decided was to put 5 LEDs on some perf-board with their resistors. Then connect them to the P1 (H-L and then (N-R) with wires between them run P1 (S) to ground, the LEDs to +5vdc, turn the dial on the radio, and see what happens in other words, I don't know if I can trust myself.  The results will be in the table below. Well, I wasted yesterday trying to re-ring out my cables nothing worked. My Fluke 113 continuity would work if I touched the probes together, but not when the cable was installed. It turned out to be just a week battery. And just to make matters worse I must have wired the DB-25s in some weird way. So my pin-out schematic was rubbish. So The only way to ring out J1 (frequency selectors) is to put an Arduino Mega to work and write so software that will read all the pins and prints them on the terminal. Looks Like J2 is ok, but I am not hooking up the volume control. I will get around to reading the resistance of the potentiometer, later
