
The last time I blogged about this unit was back in October 2016. So I uncovered it in the "un-move" along with a cable which I had thought was just a spare but nope it belonged to this beast. Basically, it's a Resolver that drives the 'bug' or pointer and 'OBS' there is also a manual control to set the bug on the heading you desire. Currently, the 'bug' is at 0, and the 'OBS' which is the reverse is at 180.
