Well ok, this is kind of backward... I don't have a good picture of what it looked like before I started with its resurrection. I found this Moto-Shop 571-4 (image 1 is a web image. Mine was dirtier) at the local Goodwill (they sell stuff by the pound). It cost me a big 5bucks, and I thought that it would be good to use to cut my instrument panel. When I first plugged it in, I heard the motor hum and the bar kind of move.. This meant the motor or bar was jammed. So the first thing I did was open it up and I found all matter of crap inside it.
I knew that I had to give this thing a bath. So all of it came apart. I have worked in this field for years, more like decades, and I took a lesson from my vacuum tube days of Tektronix.. Put the damn thing in the dishwasher. Not the motor, I will have to clean it the old fashion way.

I put in the little plastic spacers in the cutlery box. Now I have this (image 2 and 3), So all I have to do is put it back together. I will also have to source the orange guide (image 1).
