The Phoenix Arises from the Dead or should I say Radio Shack?

Is this really 2019? Did I step into the "Time Tunnel"? Did I just have a bad dream?  The answers are YES, NO, NO. This is a shot I took today coming home from my shoulder rehab. No stupid toys, Batteries, Car Batteries, etc. Components, Arduino stuff from Addafruit. AT&T cellphones, TV's and lots of cables.image

The store is located just off North Rufe Snow Rd and Windmere blvd in North Tarrant County, (Fort Worth) Near Alliance Airport.

  • Places like Radio Shack and Egghead really helped me get traction as a hobbyist when I was a youngster eons ago.  I just wonder in this day of Amazon, eBay, Ali Express, etc whether they can survive without having their own unique products.  A few years ago I used to buy electronics at Frys almost every week but recently I rarely go there since it is a 20 minute drive and I can usually find what I need on Amazon if I'm willing to wait a day or two...

     

    At any rate, I wish them good luck on their resurrection.

    I personally don't ever shop on Amazon their pricing is nuts Fry's is much better! But most of the time I take a trip to Turner Electronics in Dallas or eBay.
