AI to create Arduino sketches

I just became aware of an AI named chatGPT by OpenAI, which can do a lot of amazing things. As in, mind-blowing how well it does things!

For example, you can ask for advice on how to get a better sleep, or even how to be more romantic, and the responses are even better than I would have expected from a person!

And… you might want to sit down for this… it can write software!

It wrote the whole sketch, with comments, and then explains where to get the required libraries.

I’m impressed!

"...And… you might want to sit down for this… it can write software!..." Or just copy it from elsewhere...

NPR did a story on chatGPT, where an author was giving it a setup and then critiquing the writing that chatGPT 'created' (or plagiarized).  With little information in the setup, chatGPT would find stories that had all sorts of detail added, just not any detail that was pertinent to the authors story.  As the author added more detail to setup, the stories began to ring true and actually make sense.

It seems that AI is still constrained by the adage "Garbage in, Garbage out".
