Big storm today off the BC West Coast, they call it a "bomb cyclone" 
Thankfully we had power through most of the storm, but it did just drop offline an hour ago.
The good news is... the battery backups are working to keep us connected. We're online, and the emergency land-line phone is working too.

Oh, and as I type this, the power came back on - about an hour of down-time.
That's an advantage of being close to the airport - we're on the same sub-grid as them, and I think they get high priority service!
