After adding a second virtual harddisk to my VirtualBox WinXP VM, I was finally able to install IAR workbench for ARM (aka EWARM). Hooray!!
After that, it was easy to just follow the rest of the steps in the Getting Started document to rebuild and upload the demo firmware, as well as hook it up to the debugger that is part of EWARM.
So that means I'm all set to start trying out the different samples that come with this board and the rest of the hardware that came with the kit
