Unable to edit reply to a comment

Question

I found that I can't edit a reply to a comment made on a blog that I posted in the Arduino group. When I click the "More" button, there is no option to edit. 
 This is the blog: Insider Demo of Arduino IDE 2.0 Release Candidate 
 I was trying to correct my reply to Frank below:

Just a quick clarification (as I've seen others have some confusion about it as well) Above ralphjy says (and shows in his screen shot) that he can't edit a *comment* on a blog post. There are other content types that also have comments (Wikis, Events, etc) but Forums (like this one) do not have comments - they have *replies*. Might seem like a pedantic difference but it's not and the permissions for the two are very different. That said, the way permissions on comments work (according to the platform vendor) is that all users should always have the ability to edit their own comments. There is a separate permission to allow someone to edit *all* comments (from anyone) on a blog, but the fact that you cannot edit a comment that you made, is definitely a bug and we're raising it with the vendor. This is true for just about everything on the site - if you authored it, you should be able to edit it.

Hi jc2048 - it is a fair point that there are areas of the site (like the personal blogs archive) which are by design completely locked down from anyone editing them even when they include content you authored previously on the old platform. 
 What I meant (and should have said) was that as a general rule, anything you author going forward on the new platform you should be able to edit. 
 That said, we have discovered that the vendor excluded comments from allowing members to edit their own - I don't begin to understand why - but we have raised that as a bug with the vendor. In the meantime, they suggested that since members should be able to delete their own comments, that if you wanted to edit it, you could delete the original and repost a new one with the edit. I think that's pretty ridiculous, hence we will be pushing for them to make that correction.
