Issues with 7" screen

Hello, Support!

I received a 7" Touchscreen Display for Christmas. I also received a 7in the case for the 2B so my 2B got called up to have a screen. All went well with my setup and running with jumpers on the pi pinout. The issues started with attempting to move away from pinouts and power it by a jumper USB from the display USB to the USB c on the pi 4B. It started with the raspberry pi screen coming up then fading to white but now I can not get the screed even to power on. This happens both with the 2B and the 4B. Both are running Raspberry Pi OS x32 and are fully patched. Any ideas that I can try? Everything I have found on the forums seems to take me another step back.
