Hi,
This is just to document a few topics concerning usability, which would be good to know if Verint ever plan to implement : )
(1) Tendency to not open links in a new window: It would be great if external links always opened in a new browser tab, but that's not the case often with the site.
For instance, the screenshot below shows a link I placed in a blog comment, using the Editor tool to insert the link. It goes to an external PDF, in the same browser page, which is highly annoying because then if I click the back button, it's guaranteed I won't land back at the same comment, losing where I was.
(2) Inability to open notifications in a new browser tab:
The screenshot below shows the issue. When I right-click on a notification, there's no "Open in new browser tab" option. This is with Chrome. Again, highly annoying.
(3) Inability to pinch-zoom on mobile view:
Most websites allow the entire page (i.e. all text and images) to be resized with pinch-to-zoom, even in the mobile view. I can't do that with the element14 site. In desktop view on mobile, it half works - the images are chopped off on the right.
(4) All images are hard to view on the mobile view
Every image has its right side chopped off, in vertical mobile view. On other websites, since pinch-to-zoom works, I can zoom into images and pan around with fingers. With the element14 website, I have to tap on the image, to allow it to open fully, and then tap again on the "zoom in" button, and then pan at a fixed zoom level that is outside the user's control. Verint should embrace pinch-to-zoom tech : )
