Recent reviews seem to not be visible to Google

Hi,

Is there an issue with Google not seeing recent RoadTest reviews?

Neither Michael's nor my recent RoadTest review are visible by doing a search for them. Other content including our blogs are visible, but not RoadTest reviews.

Similarly, if I check another recent RoadTest:

Again, as can be seen, the blogs appear, but not the reviews themselves. And by page 3, there's nothing. The reviews are not obtainable via Google.

    Thank you for reaching out and bringing this issue to our attention. We have been experiencing a problem with RoadTest Reviews on our site not being indexed by Google. I would like to apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

    Our team has been working hard to address this issue, and we have recently implemented a 'Schema' markup for RoadTest Reviews that should help them show up properly on Google for products. However, we have noticed a few reasons why Google may not be indexing these pages, which we are currently addressing:

    • URL paths are truncated, which means that the full name of the RoadTest Review is not included in the URL.
    • We have implemented Schema markup for reviews, but there may still be some issues with this.
    • There are some general issues with website performance that are preventing Google from picking up RoadTest Reviews after crawling them.
    • Some of the RoadTest Reviews have similar titles, which Google may see as not interesting enough to index after crawling the page. We are working with our team to address this and ensure that each review is unique and informative.

    I see, thanks for the info! I just wanted to bring it to your attention in case it was something unknown. Being still relatively new to the mechanisms of search, it's pretty interesting that Google deliberately provides less relevant content even though it must be a common occurrence that not all websites are optimally configured for Google at any one time!
