WHY the *bleeb* CAPTCHA????

I don't login that often and every time that I do I get subjected to a CAPTCHA. Why? There is nothing on this site worthy of this level of annoyance.

Every time I come here and get subjected to this annoyance, it takes longer for me to forget how much this annoys me. 

And before you say it, I won't allow you to set a login cookie because that IS insecure and I always flush all cookies from my browser when I close it down.

    I respect that you've decided this is the level of security that you've decided to enforce, but you need to realise that there are consequences to that level of security that you're enforcing, and having to re-login and being subjected to the recaptcha is one of those consequences as it cannot remember who you are without having some back and forth of logging and storing it.

    If you're aware of alternatives that can be used to reduce bad actors and spam, then we can pass on any suggestions to Verint, our platform vendor, to address this. Until then, this's the solution we have and that we use and will do for the foreseeable future.
