Can't insert images directly into Image Gallery in Road Test Review

I am working on a Road Test Review and I can't insert images directly into an Image Gallery.  I've tried to drag and drop and copy and paste, but neither are working.  I haven't used image galleries in a while so maybe I'm not using it correctly.  Entering the text image labels works fine.

I've discovered that I can insert images into the editor first and then copy those images into the gallery.  Is that the way it is supposed to work?

On a related note, is it possible to get a preview of the complete Roadtest Review page like with Blog drafts?  I'd like to see how it will look before submitting the review.

BTW, I'm a long way from completing the review - but I prefer to work incrementally rather than trying to get everything done at the end.  I used to post intermediate Blogs which I linked from the review, but I realize that isn't the preferred format.

    I'm a little late to this thread, but it seems to be working as intended for me. It is a little tricky but I'm able to drag and drop images directly from my file explorer into the Image Gallery. Copy/Paste is generally an easier process for me as well, so I don't think you're using it incorrectly at least. I'll do a bit more testing and revisit this post if I run into that same issue.

    I'll also mention this to the team. I suspect it is a bit more complicated than I'm imagining, but that seems like a QOL change worth implementing if we can.

    There was a problem with inserting images into roadtest reviews which the development team recently fixed with a site release, you may find that you no longer have this problem, do let us know if you do or not. As srutledge says it should hopefully now be fixed.
