early heads-up: performance degraded

This morning (noticing it from 21-10 12:30 CET) the forum started becoming significantly slower.

Symptoms: it happens mainly with these two 

- initial load of a page takes minute or more, with the browser tab showing the spinning icon

- loading of the comments either slow or not happening, with the 3 dots animation spinning without showing anything below it.

It's not happening for every single page load. Sometimes the pages load fast...

    Thanks for the report. Fortunately, I was browsing the site at about the same time and raised it with the server admins.

    One of the website nodes had an issue and its processor usage was pinned at 100% - it was restarted and it appears that everything returned to normal.

    I have also raised the question of whether or not this triggered any alerts, rather than needing a manual notification from us. Hopefully, all is well now.
