There's a current 'known to platform vendor issue' that affects the Verint platform.
The Community development team is currently working with the platform vendor to attempt to resolve this issue, the issue can be replicated both on the element14 Community, and on other customer sites using the Verint platform, including Verint's community. There's no current timeline on when there will be a fix for this issue as it is being investigated.
The issue appears to be when you add images to content, sometimes the images get 'stuck' into a temporary file store or upload location, and do not move over to the 'central file store' or 'CFS' for the group or location that you've posted the content into.
This may happen if the website is having issues with performing slowly due to background tasks and services, it may also happen due to other unknown server-side problems.
It very typically happens if you copy and paste an image into content, rather than using "insert->image".
When you experience this problem, please come back to your content later and attempt to re-insert the images.
If you still have difficulty inserting the images, then please make a post in Feedback and Support giving details of the time and date when you inserted the image, published the content, and also the file type and file size of the images inserted.
There is a theory that this issue may be caused by excessively large image files that have not already been saved into a format such as jpeg or png.
Thank you for your help and understanding.
