Resolved: 'Join Now' button doesn't function

We're aware of a problem that affects users intermittently when registering for a new user account.

The problem can present itself where the 'Join Now' button doesn't do anything, even though recaptcha responds, ultimately recaptcha times out and has to be filled in again.

The team are having difficulty diagnosing this problem as it doesn't present itself as an error in the browser developer console or network tab.

If any users have more detailed information about this problem / explicit error messages when trying to register for a user account, please raise a feedback and support issue.

This isn't a request for members to create new users for the purpose of diagnosing this problem

  • This issue may be caused by the tick boxes used to register for an account.

    If you do not ensure that you have filled out these fields, and clicked Agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and the ReCaptcha then there may be an issue where, upon attempting to 'Join Now', you're then told that you need to fill out the fields, and the 'Join Now' button no longer works.

    The dev' team have been made aware and are testing the issue to see if it's the cause and what fixes need to be put in place, if any.

    We believe we have now managed to determine what's causing the problem with this issue, it is due to underlying code with the Verint platform and this will be fixed in version 12.1.5 of the Verint platform.

    We aim to move to this in February 2024, when other issues with the 12.1.5 update are resolved.

    The issue relates to how certain data elements are passed along the registration process.
