Known Issue: Sometimes Completing a Quiz Will Not Give You Points

Unfortunately this is a problem that has been with us since at least October 2022, sometimes if you fulfil a quiz you will gain the achievement, but not the points.

The development team are looking into it.

  • We have an update from the platform provider Verint on this issue.

    It is because there is a setting within the site platform to only award points on content that is <x> years old. Where <x> is a defined value. By default, this value is '2'. A lot of our quizzes on the site, particularly the 'essentials' range, are older than 2 years, so it does not give points to members.

    We are currently testing setting this to a larger value, of 10 or 15 years, since the element14 Community is at least 12 years old.
