I hope 2024 is going well for you all so far. We will be deploying our first release this year on February 6th beginning at 5:00 pm CDT.
Here are some of the items included in this release. A more complete set of release notes will be published after the release goes live, but this will give you an idea of some of the things that are coming as well as an early heads up when you can expect the site to be down.
The biggest thing in this release is an upgrade to v 12.1.5 of our Verint platform. There are a number of platform-level performance improvements and bug fixes included in this upgrade. One of them resolves the issue with captcha stalling out the registration page which was preventing new members from being able to sign up. We turned captcha off as a result, but it will now be going back on. This will help reduce spam on the site.
Some of the improvements our dev team has made include:
- Making the author name a link in the right rail of all content (where you can see view counts, likes, etc)
- With your input, we're changing the default search behavior on the site to search "everywhere" instead of only within the group where you are. Where you are searching will also be highlighted to make it easier to identify.
- We've resolved the issue with not being able to receive notifications for comments on RoadTest reviews.
- There's a fix in for downloading a full-size image. It will save in the image format which was originally uploaded.
- Issues with the main menu showing behind the Table of Contents on some content items has also been fixed.
- We've also made a number of small improvements based on your feedback to Projects, and more will be coming in the NEXT release, 2024-2 as well.
We appreciate all of your excellent feedback and will be continuing to include changes you suggest over the course of the year.
