Upcoming Site Maintenance 27th February :: Release 2024-2

In our second site update of 2024, due for deployment on the 27th February 17:00 CDT, we have a number of improvements and bug fixes which you may be interested to know about. There are plenty of others that are less obvious, won't impact you directly, or affect things behind the scenes, but I'll list out the ones I believe you'll be most interested in.

  • Increase # of years (to 10) for content to be eligible for points. We increased it to 5 years in our last release, saw no detrimental effect, so will up this to 10 years; this means you'll earn points on your old content, rather than this being limited to the past 2 years as it was by default.
    Event/Webinar OpenGraph Markup - We're hoping Google will start to feature our Webinars as 'rich results' on their search result pages.
  • There are a number of changes to RoadTest;
    • The 'Now Enrolling' list has had a makeover; we now show an image of the product being offered & make better use of the space
    • Fixed a bug whereby members weren't able to properly edit the 'if no, please explain' field in a Review
    • Selected RoadTesters can now post a Review before the Enrolment end date, instead of having to wait
    • You're now able to link to a RoadTest or RoadTest Review from other pieces of content
  • Our admins now have a way to reprocess a video thumbnail; we'd previously struggled to update these (e.g. in element14 Presents) if they initially captured a draft thumbnail.
  • In the same admin panel, our team can also override the Last Updated Date on Documents (wiki pages).. this really helps when the order of the documents is important.
  • The popup reminder for upcoming Webinars & RoadTests has been restyled slightly; it should look a bit less harsh around the edges;

  • Better error messages when failing validation during password change
  • The homepage information widget for logged in users has been improved to show different metrics;
