-Hi all,-
My wife brought me this book from the local library. She picked it up from the new books shelf and thought I might be interested.
After a quick look, I was.
-The book: ISBN 978-1-59327-744-4, from No Starch Press, retails at 29.95 USD, published in 2017, so it is hot off the presses.
The book is built around the Arduino Nano and Arduino Pro Mini and features a series of progressively more complex and fun projects with very good descriptions, hardware descriptions and downloads for the software.
The projects start with interfacing an I2C LCD screen.
The first project walks you through the setup, the components, shows you how to download the IDE and then the project software.
Nice diagrams show you how to plug the components into a prototyping board and how to connect the wires and run the software.
Overall, I am impressed with the quality of the projects, the descriptions and useful tips and techniques.
I would recommend the book for beginners and intermediate Arduino users who want to expand their skills into making useful devices using some very basic components.
It is at least worth a trip to your local library to pick up a copy.
You just never know when you will find that useful bit of information that solves a complex problem with a simple solution.
