Born in Bavaria, Georg Ohm is credited for the discovery of the proportional relationship between current and voltage, and thus gives his name to the unit of resistance: the ohm. Like his earlier counterpart Alessandro Volta, Ohm was a high school teacher, using the Voltaic Pile to develop his understanding of electricity.
Ohm was not born in Bavaria. Erlangen didn't belong to Bavaria at the Date of his Birth (see: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erlangen#Erlangen_im_K.C3.B6nigreich_Bayern). Erlangen became Bavarian in 1810, when Ohm was about 20 years old.
Mr Ohm was very important in the way Electronics resistance was measured and Calculated
Level 4! I really like Ohm, he was a cool guy.
