What is the Main Deterrent to Participation?

There are lots of reasons why members participate in Road Tests and Design Challenges and there are lots of reasons why they don't.

This poll explores what seem to be the main deterrents. What is the main reason you do not participate?

  • I have voted "other".  In my case I enjoy participating in road tests and design challenges but sometimes I have to prioritize other activities.  I used to have more time in the past but now I got involved in multiple side projects primarily related to power integrity and signal integrity in FPGA systems (besides a demanding full time job and a part time teaching job at UCLA Extension).  I still hope that I will be able to participate in 2-3 road tests this year and one design challenge.

    Please do tell us how to keep 112GHz signals nice and clean!

    How do you stop the unwanted effects of PCB vias, selecting the PCB substrates and having to use really thick transmission lines.

    Sure, I haven't seen much activity in high-speed signaling, but I will be glad to share my expertise in signal integrity and power integrity within the Element14 community members if there is interest.
