Do you like Nixie tubes ?

  • During my tech school days in 1979 I purchased a Radio Shake calculator that had a display of Nixie tubes. I can't remember the model but it was forest greet with black around the keys. Almost 6in tall,  4in wide and an 1 inch thick.

    I was so disappointed when I left the sucker on the subway. Money was tight and learning a new calculator in the middle of tech school was a ***.

     

    I carried two sets of of four AA into exams.
